Volunteers and Nominations    Valley View Estates P.O.A. is always in need of volunteers for committees, and nominations for positions on the Board of Directors and Financial Board of Trustees.  Get involved in your community! 







Bus Stop

For the safety of all of our community members, and the children of our neighborhood, you must obey Pennsylvania State Law related to stopping for a school bus. The law can be found here.


For planning purposes, the bus stop times are listed below. Please plan accordingly and be alert.


               High School Bus:                                          Elementary Bus:
               6:57 a.m. pick up                                           8:05 a.m. pick up, the bus usually arrives by 8:00 a.m.

               3:09 p.m. drop off                                          3:30 p.m. drop off

              

          ROADS AND SWALES

 

Please email us with any areas that you feel are problems with the road and drainage. Include as much information as possible and if you have any pictures that would be great.  We are currently working on some of the known trouble areas and are developing our long and short term plans for Valley View Estates. 

 P.O.A.DUES ARE DUE ON OCTOBER 1st


For members that have unpaid P.O.A. Dues balances, The unpaid account is turned over to a collection agency. Additional collection charges and costs are added to the balance owed. P.O.A. Dues payments are each member's responsibility  and must  be paid on time as per Valley View Estates covenants and  bylaws. Please  contact us by phone, email or website contact form, if you  have any issue to discuss.​

Please note: 

Valley View Estates has adopted a new resale packet to transfer properties from one owner to another. Resale certificates must be issued to all new property owners. The new resale packet can be found here as well as in the documents and forms section.

VALLEY VIEW ESTATES

No "unlicensed motorized vehicles" such as Golf Carts, ATV's, Go-Karts, Or Motorized Bikes of any kind are allowed on the streets, reserve ponds, swales or on any property belonging to Valley View Estates, P.O.A., that includes entrances, postal areas, and conservation areas.

No tractor trailers are permitted on any Valley View Estates premises. owners are permitted to park the tractor of their Tractor/Trailer Rig inside the boundaries of their property but not on the streets.

​A new 911 Address Form has been provided by David Michael III, Deputy Chief Penn Forest 2.

​Please remember that this is required by the Penn Forest Township Zoning Ordinance #2003-03 and #2010-01. This safety feature will assist emergency vehicles with finding your home in an emergency.  The ordinance can be found here


If you do not have these signs posted, you are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

Mail House:


As of January 28th, the custom built security door has been installed on the Mail House. 


The mail house is back in working order and regular mail service has resumed. 

The PA State Police continue to actively investigate these break-ins. If you have any information that may be helpful or if you had mail taken please contact the PA State Police at 570-646-2271, Trooper Smith.

VVE Board of Directors:


The Board of Directors thanks all the residents who attended the semi annual meeting. It was a pleasure to talk with you and we hope you found the information beneficial, and enjoyed some time talking with neighbors.  For those unable to attend, the bullet points below are intended to provide you with an overview of information discussed at the meeting:


  • Swales, retention ponds, and drainage have been and continue to be ensure proper water flow and alleviate blockages. Swales have been cleared, and retention ponds are next on the list. 
  • Road repair will take place this summer, including line painting. No closure of roads are anticipated. Should that change, it will be posted. 
  • Digital transformation is underway. Changes to look forward to include the ability for the board to reach residents via email and text, and an online payment portal for dues.
  • The Beautification and Community Outreach discussed the continued plans for beautification of the entrance. Volunteers are always welcome to assist with projects!
  • Nominations for two open board seats were gathered, and can still be accepted via email.


Many residents expressed interest in receiving communications including their meeting mailings and invoices. Our resident contact form is below. You can complete it digitally, email us the information, print/return the form. It is also available in the documents section of this website. Please provide as much information as possible so we can expand this initiative.


We encourage you to check our website for community news and information as it arises, our covenants, by-laws and resolutions, and pertinent documents related to these. If you have questions, concerns or ideas about our community, please call or email us. The Board is always looking for volunteers! We look forward to working together to strengthen Valley View Estates.
